English Crossbanded Mahogany Sofa Table or Writing Table, from the first half of the 19th century, the frieze fitted with two genuine drawers and 2 faux drawers to either side, with brass casters. The table is structurally sound and in overall very good condition. The top has typical marks, wear and surface scuffs. The horizontal stretcher may be of a later period. No keys. The chair is sound with a few dings, abrasions and scratches. Upholstery need’s attention.
